God of Salvation
God still heals the sick, and delivers those who are bound. But the greatest miracle is the miracle of peace with God. God desires for us to have peace with Him, to have a relationship with Him and to experience all the blessings He has for us.
God loves you and He has a plan for you. You might not know it, and you look at your problems or the problems in the world and say: “well if He loves us, why is all this happening?”
The Bible has something to say about this. For example it shows four important “laws” that can lead a person to faith in Christ. The Way of Salvation.
1. The first thing you need to know is that “God loves you and has a great plan for your life.” John 10:10 (NIV) gives us the reason that Jesus came: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
“What is blocking us from God’s love? What is preventing us from having an abundant life?”
2:Everyone is a sinner and is lost: Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God .
The word sin means “missing the mark” We are missing the goal God has set for us.
God created us to have fellowship with Him. However, humanity brought sin into the world, and therefore we are separated from God and cannot know God’s plan and purpose for our lives.
No matter how good we think we are, Our own righteousness and good works are like filthy rags.
Rom 3:10 As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;
Johannes 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”’
I could tell you of all the blessings you will receive when you follow Christ, about the joy and peace, prosperity and healing, those are all real, but I also need to tell you that without Christ you will not enter into heaven. The gospel is not just a nice story, it shows we are sinners and in need of a Savior.
The price or consequence of sin: Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Most people think they don’t deserve death for what they have done. That is because we each make up our own value system and make excuses for what we do.
We broke the rules that God set.. He doesn’t send us to hell, we are on our way already, but He can save you from it.
What is the solution?
3: The solution is found in the price Jesus paid for our sins:
Romans 5:8 “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” First Corinthians 15:3-4 says, “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.”
He paid the price, took the punishment, He was innocent but went to the cross for our sins.
Jesus taught that He is the only way of salvation: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
“Jesus Christ is God’s only provision for our sin. Through Jesus Christ, we can have our sins forgiven and restore a right relationship with God.” this is what He did, so now what do we need to do?
4: faith in Jesus and accepting what Jesus has done for you: : Rom 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
What do you need to do, to escape hell that was not created for you but for the devil? What can you do to get eternal life? It is not your sins alone that carry you to hell, it is your unbelief. The faith that Jesus died for your sins and was raised from the dead to give you new life, and confessing Him as Lord over your life.
You don’t have to beg, you simply need to believe and confess.
Mark 1:15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”‘
“We must place our faith in Jesus Christ as Savior in order to receive the gift of salvation and know God’s plan for our lives.” In John 1:12 we read, “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, He gave the right to become children of God.” Acts 16:31 teaches, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” Salvation comes through grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Are you willing to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and receive this free gift of eternal life? If so, do it now. Only Jesus can save you. the following prayer is one you can use to tell God you are ready to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior:
“Dear God, I realize I am a sinner separated from you. I can never reach heaven by my own good deeds. But you have made provision for my sin. Right now I place my faith in Jesus Christ as God’s Son who died for my sins and rose from the dead to give me eternal life. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to live for you. Thank you for accepting me and giving me eternal life.”
John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.‘
John 10:9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
2 Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
This is the greatest miracle. Peace with God and becoming a new creation. Not just a person that is forgiven but a person that has the Holy Spirit inside their heart.
