Does God still do miracles?

God was, is and will always be supernatural!

If God is supernatural does that mean He still does supernatural things and if so, how does He do them?

Dan 11:32b (KJV) But the people that know their God will be strong and do exploits

Who is God?  God is the beginning and the end, He is Lord and King. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. The first step to explain Who God is, is getting to know a supernatural God.

God created this world in a supernatural way, salvation is supernatural. Jesus was born in a supernatural way, lived in a supernatural way, died and rose again in a supernatural way. The apostles and disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit in a supernatural way, raised the dead and healed the sick. Jesus is coming back in a supernatural way but people say the time for miracles is over. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

  • God turned Aaron’s rod into a serpent, turned the Nile into blood, and opened the Red Sea to deliver His people.
  • In the desert He gave manna every day, fed them with quails, brought water out of the rock.
  • Destroyed the walls of Jericho, Made an ax float on water, and made a donkey speak
  • Gave Samson the strength to tear lions apart and knock down the pillars of a stadium.
  • He gave Abraham and Sarah a son at a very old age and He healed a leper in a river
  • Protected Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego from the fire into which they were thrown.
  • And protected Daniel when he was thrown into a den of lions.
  • Jesus turned water into wine, Healed 10 lepers, a centurion’s servant, a paralyzed, a deaf and dumb, blind, and even Peter’s mother-in-law.
  • He set free a woman who had been crooked for 18 years and healed her,
  • He raised Lazarus 4 days after his death.
  • He multiplied bread and fish so that 5,000 people could eat.
  • Cursed a fig tree that made it die, And he set demon-possessed people free.
  • Then we see that the same things He did, the apostles did in Acts

It is clear in the Old and Testament God was a supernatural God of miracles!!!!!

It makes no sense to think this is not the time for miracles because we serve a God of miracles.

God is a supernatural God, and He has given a supernatural commission to a supernatural church. We are that church.

He supernaturally saved us and raised us up to do the supernatural. God has commissioned the church to do these very things. We serve a supernatural God and are a supernatural generation.

Mat. 10:7-8 And when you go, preach, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. You received it in vain, give it in vain.

God has chosen us, and given us supernatural power. Now we must make the choice to go forth as His representatives. Jesus served people and showed His love. He hasn’t changed. But now He wants to do it through you.

Mat. 16:17 And Jesus answered and said to him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, for flesh and blood have not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Your faith will be strongest in the area where you have revelation knowledge from God. And your faith is weakest where you have little or no revelation.

Renew your thinking:Revelation is to remove the covering. It is seeing as God sees,

In the absence of revelation, people turn to natural, intellectual knowledge, which often tries to make faith and the supernatural unlikely/improbable. To walk in the supernatural we must detach ourselves from reasoning in that area. Miracles and signs do not come from intellect.

The nature of God cannot be understood by human intelligence, but only by revelation: It is good to have intelligence, as long as this mind is subject to the Holy Spirit. Paul was a brilliant man, but He was guided by the Holy Spirit rather than his intellect and study.

The church of today operates primarily on human ability, intellectual wisdom, and reasoning. If something special happens, it is quickly not believed. That’s why very little supernatural happens. why should we go to church if we don’t expect miracles, healing, prophecy, etc? If these things don’t happen in the church then something is wrong. We can never produce a miracle by reasoning.

Often a wise and historical Jesus is preached. Many people, despite having been to church, do not know this supernatural, true, living, resurrected Jesus. The supernatural Jesus is a stranger to them. Beautiful motivational, hopeful messages only temporarily relieve people’s distress. It is an insult to preach the cross without proof. This generation yearns to see the supernatural power of Jesus.

We should not put limits on God.

Mat 14:28-29 And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.

Jesus did not rebuke Peter for that desire, in fact He encourages him. He said COME! Peter left the safety of the boat to do the supernatural.

God is now raising up a new generation with the guts to get out of the boat and walk on the water.

THE INVITATION: Hand. 1:8 But ye shall receive power of the Holy Ghost, which shall come upon you; and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

Who can work miracles? people with faith in action!!

Mark. 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe: in my name they shall cast out demons; in tongues they shall speak; 18 serpents they will pick up; and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall by no means harm them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Eph 3:20 Now to him who is able to do far above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is at work in us,

THERE IS POWER, LET IT FLOW OUT OF YOU
